Full Body Bright/Dull Annealing Systems
Stainless steel tubing is being used in greater quantities than ever before along with increased demand for high quality, fully annealed tubing with either a bright or dull surface finish.
The bright annealing system includes a heating inductor designed to maximize heating efficiency. The system also includes a gas tight liner to contain the controlled atmosphere gas to insure that no contamination enters from the outside environment. This design allows the hydrogen gas to reduce surface oxides and maintain the bright finish.
The quench chamber is fully sealed to the heating coil liner and water cooled on the external surface, while on the interior, high conductivity blocks draw heat from the stainless steel tube and conduct it rapidly to the exterior water cooled surface.
