Thermatool offers a range of flying cold and friction saws to meet your tube and pipe cutting requirements.
Thermatool flying cold saws provide a near burr-free cut. Both single and multiple head designs are available for small or large product, or product which is reshaped into squares or rectangles. Blade surface speed is adjustable over a 5:1 speed range to encompass optimal cutting speeds for high speed steel or carbide blades.
Flying friction saws can be provided for a very fast cutting cycle where end conditions are not critical or secondary end finishing is required. An AC motor drives the saw blade at a maximum surface speed of 450 feet per second
(137 M/sec).
