Seam Annealing Systems
Thermatool seam annealing systems are provided for the complete size range of API pipe and for spiral pipe with any helix angle. Thermatool seam annealing systems can be adapted to both conventional longitudinal mills or spiral welded pipe mills.
Systems are equipped with a mill mounted carriage for holding the inductor above the pipe including a quick lift feature to rapidly raise the inductor off the pipe to clear any damaging obstructions.
The system can also be equipped with a fully automatic seam tracking system to ensure the complete annealing of the weld seam if it should vary from the vertical position.
Thermatool powers its seam annealing systems with a rugged, VIP series inverter power supply.
