Along with API material technology advancements over the last 15 years, Thermatool has improved the in-line Post Weld Heat Treatment (commonly known as HF Weld Seam Annealing) of Tubular Products bound for use in Oil and Gas applications. As is the case with Thermatool HF Welders, Seam Annealers are designed first by using years of experience and real world data gathered, backed by computational models, validated by hundreds of field tests, and finally software is developed to make a sophisticated Pipe Mill Seam Annealer (Post Weld Heat Treat) machine easy to use!
Process support – It is necessary to place a value on deliverables beyond the technology and quality of the equipment, and process support is where Thermatool really separates its product from the competition. With the recent mass production of X70 and X80 API Line Pipe, Thermatool has gained extensive experience working with Niobium alloyed steels, Vanadium steels, and other upgradeable materials using Boron as a hardening agent. Our global resources allow us to bring the benchmarked “best practice” to our customers and to help them be ready to compete on a regional or global basis.
